April 2025 Happenings

April... In addition to the stuff listed in this post, we also:

• 'traveled' to England and had a proper good time (here)
• went on a mini-adventure to northern Utah...with mom! (here)
• kept building the garden and things started to grow! (here)
  

Besides these fun things, our April also included:

Day with the family
Van wanted to build a birdhouse with Grandpa Jac, so early on in the month we spent a fun full day with Madison, Michael and Van.

In addition to making birdhouses, we also got to feed the neighbor's baby goats:

and have fun in the backyard together. :)

Date Machine activities
For our anniversary last month, we got a mini toy machine that we're going to use as a fun 'date night' activity generator. Our first ball that rolled out was this one -- to visit Lehi's little natural museum called Hutching's Museum. Here are some pictures from our little date night:

Afterward, Jac made us DELICIOUS banana splits. So yummy!

Other fun things that happened in April

We got a new bed. Actually we got two new beds. This first one was pretty awful (hard!) so we exchanged it for another one a few weeks later. Much better!

We helped Alexa move into an adorable little apartment closer to downtown:

We had some Easter fun with this little scavenger hunt I made for Jac:

 

 

We celebrated Cindy's birthday at Gourmandie restaurant:

And, of course, we ate well

 

 
Several times in April we had tomato soup made from last year's tomatoes!!

 

 

And we even started to enjoy this year's garden. Here's a meal using kale and bok choy harvested fresh that same day!
